Committed to better serving our customers, increasing our capabilities and extending our geographic coverage within the Southeast region, we have completed a major expansion of our Wake Forest, NC facility. This new 20,000 square foot facility, along with our additional equipment acquisitions has enabled EMS to handle larger motors and further enhance the efficiency of workflow.

Electric Motor Shop Facilities
  • (2) strategically located facilities in Wake Forest and Rocky Mount, North Carolina
  • 100,000 combined square feet of office and workshop capacity
Varnish Removal and Curing:
  • (4) Burn-out ovens for old varnish removal- 12′ x 12′ x 12′
  • (2) Bake ovens for curing new varnish- 8′ x 8′ x 8′
Sandblasting equipment:
  • Both EMS facilities equipped with Clemco 10′ x 10′ x 10′ sandblasters
  • All rebuilt motors are sandblasted
  • All parts steam-cleaned and sandblasted
VPI Tanks:
  • 10′ diameter x 14′ deep (Epoxylite 478, located in Wake Forest)
  • 5′ diameter x 6’ deep (Dolph CC1105 Polyester, located in Rocky Mount)
